Privacy

This is a translation. The German version of this privacy policy is the legally binding one.

The short version

You can just read this site. You don't have to sign up, type in your name, or upload anything. We don't use cookies, and we don't collect data about who you are or what you look at. The downloads don't need an email address. Only the computer the site lives on briefly notes that someone stopped by, and it forgets that again after a few days.

Who is responsible

FLITCH UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Schapenstraße 29, 38104 Braunschweig, Germany, represented by its managing director Daria Helck, email info@flitch.fun.

What happens when you visit this website

This website is made of fixed pages with no accounts, no forms, no comments, and no ads. We don't use cookies, and we don't embed any analytics, advertising, or social media services. Fonts, images, and downloads load from our own server, not from third parties.

When a page is requested, the web server processes data that is technically necessary: the IP address of the device, the date and time, the page requested, the amount of data transferred, and the browser used. This data is kept in server logs for security and troubleshooting and is deleted after a short time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Hosting

The website is hosted on a server run by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. Hetzner processes the server logs on our behalf.

Downloads

The free files load directly from our server, with no sign-up and no data passed on. The same server logging applies as for any page visit.

Links to other websites

Links lead to Amazon, to the shop and the Club on flitch.fun, and to a few other sites. Once you follow a link, that website's privacy rules apply. We don't embed any content from third parties.

Email

If you email us, we store your message along with your address so we can reply (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR), and we delete it once the matter is settled and no legal retention period applies. We answer messages from children by writing to their parents.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to object. You can also file a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the Data Protection Commissioner of Lower Saxony. To exercise these rights, write to us at info@flitch.fun.
